I was planning on cancelling my monthly subscription to this box but I may need to give that a rethink now.
The past three months I have received a mixture of crappy eyeliners, department store samples and pathetic tiny perfume vials. I kept the subscription running because...I don't know. I don't have a valid reason. I had a feeling that they might do a special one year birthday box in May so I was holding out for then. I predicted that the April box would be just like the previous three, especially as there was no hype about it whatsoever.
I was so wrong! 100% impressed with the latest offering. I am not going to go into great detail about the products in the box because this isn't a beauty blog and to be honest I am waaaay too lazy but I will say:
- I'm a lip balm sucker and I've got one in here in the cutest packaging. (Cherry & vanilla!)
- 70g of Burt's Bees milk & honey body lotion is always handy and a perfect handbag size
- I'm past the halfway to 50 club as much as I HATE to admit it to myself so I've got the face serum and collagen based cream at the ready...
- I was planning to purchase MAC eye kohl in "teddy" so the Inika eyeliner in coco was a perfect addition for me. It's free of all the nasties and organic and I can already tell it’s about a zillion times better than those crappy Eyeko eyeliners.
So in conclusion I am totally impressed with this box and that's why I felt it deserved its own post!
