Style Overload - Ladies Of Mad Men

I've developed a slight obsession over the past week. I finally sat down and started watching Mad Men (dare I say, 5 years late to the party) After finishing the first series in a matter of days I have become completely hooked. It's not just the fascinating characters that I become more and more intrigued with as the story progresses but the spot on styling, set designs and elegance.
This post is making me ache for rose toned blush and a matte coral lipstick!
Here are my favourite Mad Men inspired picks from the best vintage/handmade one stop shop, Etsy !

Joan Holloway inspired vintage pen necklace
Genuine 1960s cat eye frames
Black Willow Straw Handbag
Gold Diamante Lizard Brooch
Puertro Rico Postcard Style Earrings Ok, so these aren’t strictly inspired by Mad Men but I couldn't resist putting them in here. They are too kitsch and awesome!

Awesome etsy seller alert - Animal/stone necklaces

I have always been one for unique piece of statement jewellery. When I was having a bad year in 2007 I spent an obscene amount of money on a Marjan Pejoski fang necklace. (I saw it featured in the Time Out halloween issue and the next day I went and withdrew the money from my credit card account in my lunchbreak. I had serious issues back then)

Then a year later, Twilight mania hit the world and I couldn't bring myself to ever wear it again. OH.

So, I'm minding my own on etsy looking at galaxy print everything because I just find it all so visually appealing and then these adorable things turn up.

Animals perched on semi precious stones! These beauties are handmade by RockinEarthJewelry I'm really wanting to give the lil black bear on the galactic stone a new home!

If I wasn't at the limit of my overdraft. Lust haves #3.

I'm seriously wanting this galaxy print blouse from Misguided. I've seen a few on ebay from overseas with ridiculous shipping prices. This one is pretty affordable at under £25 with delivery. I've been obsessing over galaxy print for far too long now. It started off with my admiration for the Christopher Kane collection last year and I kept searching for cosmic inspired pieces that weren't leggings...lo and behold this amazing piece. I know it's a bit overdone in the blog world but I'm yet to see anything like this on the high street. Maybe I should just buy it this week before it sells out forever...right?

So, on the off chance I check out the Urban Outfitters site to see if their sale is on...and tough luck for me and my very almost-at-the-overdraft limit bank account it is indeed...and these cuties are reduced from a hefty £85 to a slightly more purse friendly £50. I love the apricot colour and I've been looking for a replacelemt for my faulty Monki wedges for the past few months. Serious temptation over here.

Slightly creepy replica human teeth ring on etsy. I'm getting two sets of wisdom teeth removed in the next few months so maybe this is how I can justify a purchase like this? Whatever. It's $12.

FACT: I have been a lipbalm obsessive since 1993. I first laid eyes on these EOS products earlier in the year.  EOS stands for "evolution of smooth" apparently. These are made free of petrolatum and other nasties, 100% natural and full of shea butter and vitamin e and hi, look at the adorable packaging!. These come in lots of awesome flavours such as strawberry sorbet and honeysuckle honey dew. Obviously, I need another lip product like a hole in the head but I am so close to picking one up on ebay.
