Lust Haves - March Edition

Jaws tee £19.99, Zara I have a Tee and Cake sweater with a similar image on but as a bulky sweater I am not so keen on it now. As a tee this is much easier to style and I love how the image looks and has a painted effect. So cool. Do I stick Tee and Cake on the bay of e and then snap up this guy?

Bitter Orange and Chocolate cologne, £38.00, Jo Malone I'm very sad at how late to the party I am with the limited edition Sugar and Spice range released by Jo Malone. With scents like Red Currant and Cream and the deliciously named Bitter Orange and Chocolate I am seriously dying because I LIVE FOR THIS SHIT. Sad times though, this is sold out online.

Nail Lacquer in "Stun", $8, Floss Gloss Floss Gloss is an independent California based nail polish brand with a pretty impressive looking gallery of photos uploaded by fans of their products. All products are 4 free and and come in a range of sweet punchy shades and fierce full on glitters which retail for a purse friendly 8 bucks! Into it.

Sabertooth Doughnut ring, $100, Vera Meat I'm a huge fan of Vera Meat rings, I don't think I need to explain why I want this in my life. It's a tiger eating a doughnut. Brilliant.

Estee Lauder See Thru Blush in Light Snow, £48, Selfridges I was raving about my Mad Men lipstick back in November over here. The new limited edition collection has been released with updated packaging for a later 1960s feel. I love the look of the compact and I'm so glad to see it being released on this side of the pond but at nearly £50 for a blush it's something I'll sadly have to skip on!

Tori Vintage Headscarf, £6, Crown and Glory I'm new to checking out Crown and Glory despite seeing them featured on a few blogs. These vintage style headscarves (made from reclaimed material) come in a variety of different prints and are perfect and totally Betty Draper/Francis!

Product Review: Estee Lauder Mad Men Limited Edition Lipstick 78 Cherry

I had a little flip out when I heard that an Estee Lauder Mad Men collection had been released earlier this year. Being a big fan and an absolute sucker for packaging I knew I'd have to own one of the two capsule products. The two products in the collection were a lipstick and cream blush. Unfortunately these were only US released and obviously, like all great things had sold out very shortly after release.

Fortunately, my boyfriend is really great and had purchased the lipstick for me off an ebay seller for one of my birthday gifts!

Cherry is a mid pink, wearable for all skin tones. The shade is bright but very much suitable for everyday. Formula wise it is lightweight and feels comfortable on the lips, not at all drying. Staying power is average to good. It leaves a nice stain on the lips which I usually top up with gloss to keep the colour on towards the end of the day. Not quite the 1960s look I know...

The packaging and theme of the product were the real selling points for me (yep, I’m terrible) the lipstick comes in a little gold pouch and the box is decorated with the original Estee Lauder logo. The size of the product is a litte smaller than your average lipstick so I intend to use it very sparingly due to the price!

Rumour has it that there's another collaboration lined up for 2013. I will totally be on the Nordstrom’s website on the day of release. I wish I was kidding. Should I review products more often? Do my reviews suck? Does anybody actually read this? Do tell.

Style Overload - Ladies Of Mad Men

I've developed a slight obsession over the past week. I finally sat down and started watching Mad Men (dare I say, 5 years late to the party) After finishing the first series in a matter of days I have become completely hooked. It's not just the fascinating characters that I become more and more intrigued with as the story progresses but the spot on styling, set designs and elegance.
This post is making me ache for rose toned blush and a matte coral lipstick!
Here are my favourite Mad Men inspired picks from the best vintage/handmade one stop shop, Etsy !

Joan Holloway inspired vintage pen necklace
Genuine 1960s cat eye frames
Black Willow Straw Handbag
Gold Diamante Lizard Brooch
Puertro Rico Postcard Style Earrings Ok, so these aren’t strictly inspired by Mad Men but I couldn't resist putting them in here. They are too kitsch and awesome!
