A handful of things I wouldn't mind waking up to on Dec 25th
I'll probably end up buying these Topshop Edward Slippers sooner because at a pocket friendly £20 I would find it too hard to resist. I love the contrast of the navy and yellow tassel detail on these. These make me think of royalty for some reason and they look so super comfy. My feet are crying out for them.Oh ASOS, you did it again. This leather chunky jewel bag (£45) is a pure object of my dreams. I just want to watch it sparkle in the light all day long. Possibly not the most practical of handbags, especially with the size but when it resembles an open treasure box who really cares? One day I was thinking about how awesome it would be if this existed, so I googled, and look what I found! I am a little bit of a film nerd and the carpet from The Shining is so creepy yet visually appealing. Unfortunately it has to be $40 which is RIDICULOUS.I was a big fan of "Kill Your Friends" by the same author. This looks a little more thriller/suspense based and I'm dying to get hooked into another good read before the end of the year.

they're talking about you boy but you're still the same
The London Opening Ceremony pop up store opened last week and obviously I had to check it out as soon as I could. Two floors filled with desirable pieces that I will never be able to afford. I spotted the metal style logo tee and Tokyo sweater (which holds a special place in my heart because that's where my love affair with this awesome brand started) online. $50 & $75.
I'm in the market for a leather biker and this fine suede one from Monki ticks all the right boxes. Jessi leather jacket, 12O EUR
Topshop are always high on the list of contenders when it comes to A/W boots. These bear an ever so slight resemblance to the YSL (or should that be Saint Laurent, or who cares) Leather and suede wedge ankle boots but the real selling point of these shoes (besides how breathtakingly hot they are) is the reviews. There are seven zillion top reviews for these stating how comfortable they are! Clearly I need these in my life. Topshop Andreas wedge boots, £70
Apparently all Nails Inc have to do, to convince me to spend £11 on a nail polish is to put an image of a cupcake on the bottle. It's true. "Sweets Way" looks like a Deborah Lippman colour which Revlon duped that never came out in the UK. If anyone can find another dupe with a slightly friendlier price then do let me know. All my nails do is break and I paint them far too often (as in daily) to justify spending £11 on one polish. Even if it is cupcake themed.

Lust haves #2
New month, new bank account killers. Let's go!
Topshop Jamaica sundress
This print SCREAMS holiday and holiday would be the only occasion I would wear this because I am so totally not a dress girl but I cannot ignore the cuteness of this. I know that it will sell out and never be seen again and I will eventually get over it and forget it ever existed but for now I will love & obsess.
Topshop envelope purse
You know when I mentioned that I have questionable taste?...This is a prime example. Actually the main reason that I adore this is that it is reminiscent of this purse that I had in 1998 which was silver and hologrammy. I'm feeling a lot of fashion nostalgia lately and I'm really into this. I'm also trying to avoid the fact that I'm on the wrong side of 20 and I'm not ready to get all Banana Republicy just yet.
ASOS "Desire" Flatforms
...Which brings me to my next item. I wish these had a black platform. I'm not into the white. A little too Spice Girly/easy to get dirty. THESE ARE SO HORRIBLE!!!!!!! Yet I am so in love with them. I love ASOS for shoes, even though I have never actually purhased shoes from them. They always have something a little ridiculous and there is always a discount code flying around (EXTRA24 for 24% off until 9am Tues 8th!)
New Look Grey Leather Glitter Boot
I love the glitter detail on these. These are so unique for NL and such a decent price. I had to return my Monki boots because they fell apart and I need something with a heel/wedge to replace them. New contenders?
Maybelline Pop Sticks
I'm laughing at myself in my head for my new obsession. I swatched these in Superdrug the other day. They're ok. I love the selection of "shades" apart from the fact that they all swatch the same...(bar one, the deeper red shade) totally transparant, totally blah, totally overpriced. So why do I feel the need to buy one so badly? I wish I could answer this question. You see, last year Clarins launched a product which was practically the same thing but over double the price. I fell in love with the concept of a transparent jelly coloured lipgloss that looks like a ice lolly. I am the perfect idiot consumer. These do smell nice and I like the packaging. Now, which colour do I choose?
Kenzo X Vans
I lost interest in Vans when it appeared that everyone and their dog owned a pair, However I am a sucker for a limited edition collaboration and I love the print on these. Also, my burgundy Vans have lived a long exciting life (Florida and Tokyo!) and a replacement is overdue.
